DT Next Impact: Corporation removes garbage from Periyar Nagar

In the report “Residents, school students vexed as garbage accumulates on Periyar Nagar street corners”, residents and students of the area complained that garbage accumulation at street corners has turned into a huge menace and there was no response from sanitary workers even after complaints.

When DT Next approached the Corporation official concerned, they assured immediate action. After the report appeared on Sunday, the officials instantly jumped into action.
