Located in Chennai, the all-new Flinto R&D Centre will offer a stimulating environment for 100 plus kids at a time. With an aim to provide a highly stimulating environment for children to nurture their talent, the Flinto R&D Centre will offer a plethora of activities for children up to 12 years that will focus on improving 16 key skills including problem-solving, logical and critical thinking, creative thinking, negotiation and decision making, teamwork, leadership and other important social skills that are imperative for the overall development of a child. The children can play, learn and explore in this set-up, forming the basis of Flinto’s learning and play design.

Drawing inspiration from research findings, the activities at the Flinto R&D Centre are designed and developed by a team of early learning specialists, including child psychologists and pedagogy experts to cater to the needs of every child, enabling them to unleash their maximum potential, irrespective of their learning styles. Over the next 6 months, the centre plans to run workshops on a regular basis for parents, early educators and children that will serve as a platform to explore new learning methods and techniques that are being embraced by top schools across the globe.

Additionally, the Flinto R&D Centre will host conferences and will invite international speakers to highlight the current trends in the field of early education. Simultaneously, the research centre will focus on conducting studies and publishing empirical and conceptual research papers pertaining to child development in science journals. To this end, Flinto Learning Solutions will invest a cumulative sum of $1 million to the centre over the next year.

“We will bring together national and international researchers, with a variety of theoretical and methodological perspectives to initiate discussions. This will stimulate research and development in order to influence national and international policies on early learning,” said Arunprasad Durairaj, CEO and Co-Founder of Flinto Learning Solutions during the launch.

The inauguration ceremony was followed by a carnival that included an array of exciting activities giving children an opportunity to explore their creative side and learn through play.
