10 from Cancer Institute test positive
Tamil Nadu recorded 64 new positive cases of COVID19 and one death on Sunday. A 42-year-old male admitted at a private hospital in the city died on Saturday at 4.30 pm.

Chennai recorded at least 28 new positive cases, including 10 from the Adyar Cancer Institute, including seven patients, two staff nurses and one technician.
One, out of the ten COVID-19 positive patients, at the Cancer Institute had been admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for cancer treatment earlier. The patient, who is a taxi driver from Anna Nagar was tested after the postgraduate medico at RGGGH who treated him tested positive.
After treatment at RGGGH, the patient was referred to the Cancer Institute. Other patients and staff at the Institute reportedly contracted the virus from the driver. The infected patients are from other States and districts, according to sources.
Among the new cases, 14 are under investigation while others are contacts of the existing positive cases of COVID-19 patients.
The total number of cases in the State stands at 1,885 and death toll is now 24. The number of COVID19 cases in the city stands at 523, which is the highest in the State.
At least 60 more patients were discharged post treatment from several hospitals on Sunday and as many as 838 active cases are present in the State.
Of the 37 districts in the State, Krishnagiri, which recorded its first COVID case on Saturday remains in the green zone with less than five cases, while seven districts are in the orange zone with less than 15 cases. All other districts are under the red zone.
