    A breather finally.

    Chennai

Since Sundays aren't a total lockdown anymore families stepped out of their homes to visit Mamallapuram, harkening normalcy at least to an extent.

However, government hasn't yet decided on reopening monuments, the Coastal temple and other paid tourist attractions were closed.

People could only settle for structures they could visit for free outside the main premise, the ancient town was also visited by tourists outside the state.

Given the E-pass rollback, tourists commuted  by cars and two wheeler vehicles.

Selfies were galore at Arjuna Thapasu (Arjuna's penance), Krishna mandapam (Krishna's hall) and Trimurthi mandapam (Trimurthi hall) as these require no entry fee.

Parents were delighted that their kids could relax a bit now as they don't have online classes on Sundays and they needn't be sequestered in their homes on Sundays.
