Chennai active Covid cases remain steady, 60 pc patients male

The dashboard shows that 48,788 Fever clinics were conducted in Chennai from 08-05-2020 till 18-09-2020. And nearly 25,42,066 people attended the clinics and 1,49,032 symptomatic patients were identified & tested for COVID-19 and others given medicines for minor ailments.

The dashboard reveals that the total number of active cases in the city is 9,946, while around 60 pc of the infected were male.

The city has so far reported 3,037 deaths and the number of recovered till date is 1,40,633.

The most affected zones are Zone 10- Kodambakkam and Zone 8- Anna Nagar, which has reported more than 1000 cases, while other zones see a decline in the covid infections comparatively.
