Ghana’s viral ‘Coffin Dance’ sold as NFT for $1 mn

Ghanaian Pallbearer, Benjamin Aidoo has sold his Coffin Dance NFT for $1.046 million (372 Ethereum). Aidoo’s dancing pall-bearing group went viral in 2020 after their videos were turned into memes during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The NFT was acquired by Dubai-based recording agency, 3F Music. As per Africa Facts Zone data, it was auctioned to the agency on April 9, 2022, after an intense bidding session.
