Life- size dinosaur replica installed in Wales becomes instant crowd puller
A majestic, 15ft tall beast- an Allosaurus replica was installed by Jerry Adams, a part- time gardener of Cwmbran, Wales. The life- size dinosaur which was bought at a charity auction by the The National Showcaves Centre for Wales for £1,600 was towed to the town on a trailer around 50 miles from the Abercrave attraction on the outskirts of Swansea. Adams made this initiative for a soul- stirring reason, in order to make his grandchildren touch and feel the dinosaur. Out of his 12 grandchildren, two of them suffer from Autism and one with Asperger’s. The children spent hours feeling the dinosaur by touching it with their hands to understand what it is like.
