Actor Vadivelu who is known for his comic expression and dialogue delivery had celebrated his 60th birthday recently. Considered as the 'King of Comedy', Vadivelu has been in hiatus for a while.

While wishes poured from all corners of the world from his fans and industry colleagues, the actor had released a video on twitter. In what is considered to be his official twitter id, an undated old video supposedly uploaded by the actor himself started surfacing the internet. In the video, Vadivelu is seen stating that he is forever grateful for the love and affection showered upon him and is indebted to it. However, the authenticity of the video couldn't be verified.

The video went viral within a span of few hours on uploading. The video which was captioned in Tamil read that the actor is grateful for all the birthday wishes and will make a strong comeback soon. He also had said that he is born every single day as he brings a smile on every face and in every family through his comedy clips.

The actor further thanked his mom and said that if not for her, he wouldn't be here. He said he is forever indebted to his fans only, after his mother, as without their support, he wouldn't have survived in the industry these many years.

Vadivelu further said that he will make his re-entry soon with a bang and actor in his usual satire said his delay was because of few planetary changes (Saithaan and Sanniyan in his words) but will make his reentry in spite of them.

On the work front, Vadivelu was signed on to play a pivotal role in Kamal Haasan's Thalaivan Irukkiran, which is considered as a sequel to Thevar Magan. He is expected to reprise his role Esaki (from Thevar Magan) in Thalaivan Irukkiran. The actor was last seen in Vijay's 'Mersal' released in the year 2017.

Even while the actor was on complete hiatus after that, he is still considered as "Messiah" for meme creators. Recently, the #PrayForNeasamani meme also went viral on Twitter with many Tamil cinema fans from across the world joining the trend and spreading the fame of the evergreen comedy actor.
