'Kannamma' of Vijay TV soap fame trends the internet
Netizens flooded the internet with memes on Kannama of "Bharathi Kannamma" fame, as the tele- soap showed her walking down the street, almost the whole week.

"Bharathi Kannamma" is a Vijay TV weekly soap opera. The lead character Kannamma is played by actress Roshini Haripriyan. The plot of the serial is about the relationship between Bharathi, the male lead, who falls for the nature and personality of the female protagonist Kannamma and the hurdles they face, to lead life as a couple.
In one such episode, Kannamma had a rift with her husband and leaves the house. The 'novel idea' of
making the protogonist, who also happens to be pregnant, walking on the road for the next 5 episodes, helped the meme creators trend the internet with their creativity.
The fans of the opera started trending the memes, with a hashtag "kannamma memes", " Kannama walking" and many more.
The meme creators who take over every other opportunity to portray their imagination and creative skills took this opportunity and flooded the internet with memes of all sorts.
Bharathi Kannamma is a remake of the Malayalam television serial, Karuthamuthu, which was aired on Asianet. It went on to become the second-longest-running television soap opera in Malayalam television and completed four seasons, with 1,450 episodes, over a period of five years.
