#CSKforever trends on Twitter after CSK's defeat against Mumbai Indians
Fans took to Twitter to show their support for their favourite team and captain.
Chennai
Chennai Super Kings had a horrendous season in the Indian Premier League 2020 winning 3 out of the 11 games they had played and the chance of qualifying for the play-offs appears to be a foregone conclusion after they were clobbered by Mumbai Indians in Sharjah on Friday.
CSK batted first after losing the toss and by the end of the powerplay Mumbai bowlers had picked five wickets and concedeing only 24 runs. Sam Curran stood his ground and hit a fifty which pushed CSK to post of a target of 115 for the defending Champions. Mumbai Indians chased the below par target without loss and defeated the Super Kings by 10 wickets.
Cricket expert Harsha Bhogle wondered about how the CSK fans would react after the loss. He tweeted,'I am quite curious to see how the fans and supporters of CSK react to this situation. Will they accept this as part of the journey together? Or will they scream and ask for heads to roll?'
#CSKforever has been a response to that question as fans took to Twitter to show their support for their favourite team and captain.
