Vijay Sethupathi, Vetrimaaran to team up for new film?
Reports have emerged that Vetrimaaran has approached Vijay Sethupathi to play a character in his new film starring Soori as the protagonist.

Vetrimaaran had previously cast Sethupathi in one of his films but the latter had to opt out due to scheduling conflicts. Vijay Sethupathi was the first choice for the role of Rajan played by Ameer in 'Vada Chennai'.
The news of Vijay Sethupathi and Vetrimaaran joining hands together yet again as enthralled fans.
Based on Jayamohan's 'Thunaivan' short story, Bharathiraja was roped in as the film's main lead, but later for personal reasons, he withdrew from the role. Then, it was said that actor Kishore would be cast. But now it has been reported that Vetrimaaran has decided to go with Vijay Sethupathi.
