Security forces recover arms in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch

Security forces on Monday recovered a bag containing 4 AK rifles, grenades and ammunition close to the Line of Control (LoC) in J&K's Poonch district.

Police said following specific information, the police and Army recovered the bag during the intervening night of November 8 and 9 from Kirni area close to the LoC in Poonch district "The bag was recovered under a large rock. Four AK-56 rifles, four magazines, 141 AK rounds, four grenades and AK accessories were recovered from the bag", police said.

How and when the bag was placed under the rock is being verified, police said.
