Over 40 EMU services to be cancelled on Oct 8
Train No. 40754, Kanchipuram – Chennai Beach EMU Fast leaving Kanchipuram at 09:30 hrs is FULLY CANCELLED on 08th October 2023.

CHENNAI: Over 40 EMU services on Chennai Beach - Kancheepuram section would be cancelled due to line block permitted in Chennai Egmore and Villupuram section between Kodambakkam and Tambaram railway stations on 08th October from 11:00 hrs to 15:15 hrs (04 Hours 15 Minutes).
Train No. 40754, Kanchipuram – Chennai Beach EMU Fast leaving Kanchipuram at 09:30 hrs is FULLY CANCELLED on 08th October 2023.
Chengalpattu – Chennai Beach EMU Local leaving Chengalpattu at 09:40 hrs, 10.55hrs and 11.30hrs, 12.00 hrs, 13.00hrs will be fully cancelled on 08th October 2023.
Tambaram – Chennai Beach EMU Local leaving Tambaram at 10:05 hrs, 10.15hrs, 10.25hrs, 10.45hrs, 10.55hrs and 11.05hrs and 11.25hrs, 11.35hrs, 12.00hrs, 12.15hrs, 12.45hrs, 13.30hrs, 13.45hrs, 14.15hrs and 16.30 hrs will be fully cancelled on 08th October.
Chennai Beach – Tambaram EMU Local leaving Chennai Beach at 10:30 hrs, 10:40 hrs, 10:50 hrs, 11.10hrs, 11.30hrs, 11.40hrs, 12.00hrs, 12.10hrs, 12.40hrs, 13.15hrs, 13.30hrs, 14.00hrs and 14.30hrs will be fully cancelled on 08th October.
Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU Local leaving Chennai Beach at 11:00 hrs, 11.50hrs, 12.30 hrs, 12.50hrs, 13.45hrs, 14.15hrs will be fully cancelled on 08th October.
Tirumalpur – Chennai Beach EMU Local leaving Tirumalpur at 11:05 hrs will be fully cancelled on 08th October.
Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU Local leaving Chennai Beach at 13:00 hrs will be fully cancelled on 08th October.
In lieu of the cancelled EMU trains, passenger special (PS1 – 11:00 hrs), (PS3 – 11:50 hrs), (PS5 – 12:30 hrs), (PS7 – 12:50 hrs), (PS9 – 13:00 hrs), (PS11 – 13:45 hrs), (PS13 – 14:15 hrs) will be operated between Tambaram and Chengalpattu on 08th October.
In lieu of cancelled EMU trains, passenger special (PS2 – 09:40 hrs), (PS4 – 10:20 hrs), (PS6 – 10:55 hrs), (PS8 – 11:30 hrs), (PS10 – 12:00 hrs), (PS12 – 12:20 hrs), (PS14 – 13:00 hrs) will be operated between Chengalpattu and Tambaram on 08th October, a statement issued by Southern Railway said.
