G-20 in India: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz says, "I think it is very important to remember that we launched the partnership for Global Investment and Infrastructure last year...We have to be active that these things can happen and this is for me that we then have to also work on the institutions that can work on financing and for this it is also important to make the work of the World Bank successful. Germany will contribute an additional 305 Million Euros to the World Bank..."

On being asked about Cryptocurrency, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says, " The FSB's report has concentrated more on regulation and IMF has looked at the macroeconomic implications. So, G 20 members will go through the synthesis paper in detail, there is one more meeting under our presidency for the finance track in Marrakesh...there the FSB and IMF reports will be discussed. So it is up to G 20 membership to take a call on how it wants to move forward on it (Crypto)..."
