CHENNAI: In Day 2 of the IPL Mega Auction 2025, a 13-year-old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, became the youngest ever player to be sold at an IPL Auction. He was brought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.1 crore.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 10.75 crore. The Indian pacer is the biggest buy of today.
Deepak Chahar, former Chennai player, will now play for the RCB's rival team Mumbai Indians (MI) for Rs 9.25 crore. Mumbai also made an absolute steal by buying another CSK player Mitchell Santner at the base price of Rs 2 crore.

In addition to this, South Africa all-rounder Marco Jansen has been the most expensive buy so far for Punjab Kings at Rs 7 crore.
The RCB also went hard for Krunal Pandya and brought him for 5.75 crore. Sam Curran on the other hand returned to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for 2.40 crore.
The Mumbai troika of Shardul Thakur, Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane along with New Zealand stars Kane Williamson and Glenn Phillips are among the unsold players.
