CHENNAI: A day after AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami made a statement that the party’s vote bank eroded by 10%, AMMK leader TTV Dhinakaran said that Palaniswami would script ‘the final chapter of the AIADMK’ after the Assembly polls in 2026 and cautioned the cadres not to be deceived by Palaniswami and his coterie.
AIADMK leader MG Ramachandran founded ‘Two-Leaves’ to defeat the DMK. However, the victorious symbol has been losing its vigour in the recent past. If the loyal cadres of the party continue to believe and support Palaniswami, it would lead to the party’s downfall. After the 2026 polls, he would script the epilogue for the party, Dhinakaran told journalists.

He took a dig at Chief Minister MK Stalin’s move to elevate his son and Sports Minister Udhayananidhi Stalin as deputy CM and wondered what is the need and urgency for it.
“It is good for his family, but a controversial one. The move attracted a lot of criticism and questions arose about whether it will benefit the people in any way. Whether it will bring down the taxes and reduce the power tariff?” he asked.
