The Prime Minister said that India has been witnessing several developments and we have achieved a major development in economy

TIRUCHY: India has been achieving a lot in economic development and the entire world has been looking at our nation for its fast growth, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi after conferring degree to the graduates at Bharathidasan University here on Tuesday. He urged them to serve to the people, particularly the farming community.
Conferring degree to the graduates of the university during the 38th convocation, Prime Minister Modi who was the chief guest, said, during those days, Kanchi, Madurai and Gangaikonda Cholapuram had excelled in education and the students played pivotal roles in changing the face of the country and the changes in its historical developments.
The Prime Minister said that India has been witnessing several developments and we have achieved a major development in economy and thus, the entire world has been looking at us after witnessing the remarkable growth.
He urged the graduates to use their education to help the people, particularly the farmers and those who were involved in the agriculture sector. He also asked the graduates to cultivate brotherhood and mutual relationships among the people. Only when the universities excel in education, the country would also excel in everything, he said and asked the students to continue inculcating skills and expertise in each field.
Governor RN Ravi presided over the convocation. After the event, the Prime Minister took a group photo with the graduates who received their degree.
Earlier, the Prime Minister arrived at the Tiruchy Airport and Governor Ravi, Chief Minister MK Stalin and the Ministers received him.
