New collectors for 9 TN districts; MTC, GuidanceTN get new heads

CHENNAI: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government on Friday transferred around 30 IAS officers, including six district collectors, and appointed the new managing director for Guidance Tamil Nadu.

According to an order issued by state chief secretary N Muruganandam, secretary of special programme implementation department Dr Darez Ahmed has been posted as the new MD of Guidance Tamil Nadu. Additional chief secretary to deputy chief minister, Pradeep Yadav, will hold full additional charge as the secretary of the special programme implementation.

Additional secretary to deputy CM, Dr M Aarthi will hold full additional charge of project director of Tamil Nadu Women Employment and Safety Project. Incumbent Tirunelveli collector Dr KP Karthikeyan has been posted as MD of ELCOT. Tiruvannamalai collector D Baskara Pandian has been posted as project director of TN Road Sector Project – II.

Tiruvallur collector Dr T Prabhushankar has been posted as MD of MTC, replacing Alby John Varghese.

Project Office of DRDA, Erode R Sadheesh has been appointed as collector of Dharmapuri district, replacing K Santhi, who has been appointed as the director of Sericulture, Salem.

Executive director of Chennai Metro Mater S Saravanan has been posted as collector of Dindigul district, replacing MN Poongodi who has been appointed as the joint commissioner (admin) of Commercial Taxes department.

Deputy secretary of special programme implementation M Prathap has been posted as collector of Tiruvallur district.

As per the order, Commissioner of Madurai Corporation C Dinesh Kumar has been posted as collector of Krishnagiri district, replacing KM Sarayu who has been appointed as joint secretary (protocol) of the state public department.

Joint commissioner of municipal administration S Shiek Abdul Rahman has been posted as collector of Villupuram district, replacing C Palani who has been appointed as additional commissioner (admin) HR; CE department.

Tirupathur district collector K Tharpagaraj has been appointed as the collector of Tiruvannamalai district, while director of Disaster Management V Mohanachandran has been appointed as collector of Tirupathur district. Additional commissioner of HR; CE department Dr R Sukumar has been appointed as the collector of Tirunelveli district. Additional director of Industries and Commerce Department K Sivasoundaravalli has been appointed as the new collector of Tiruvarur district.

MD of TN Skill Development Corporation J Innocent Divya has been posted as commissioner of technical education. Project director of TN Road Sector Project-II has been appointed as Commissioner of Labour. Tiruvarur collector T Charusree has been posted as director of Treasuries and Accounts.

Secretary of the differently-abled welfare department Sigy Thomas Vaidhyan has been posted as Commissioner of Disaster Management. R Jaya has been posted as commissioner of economics on her return from central deputation, replacing S Ganesh who has been posted as special secretary to the state revenue department. While joint secretary to the state home department S P Amrith has been posted as additional registrar of cooperative societies.

Joint CEO of TN e-governance agency Chitra Vijayan has been appointed as the commissioner of Madurai Corporation. Project Officer of DRDA – Dharmapuri Gaurav Kumar has been posted as executive director of Chennai Metro Water. Director of Handloom, A Shanmuga Sundaram has been posted as MD of TN Civil Supplies Corporation.
