    CHENNAI: 22-year-old Manu Bhaker has a chance to script history and become a three time medallist in a single edition of the Olympics when she contests in the women's 25m pistol event final. She scored a perfect 100 in Rapid pistol series one and was consistent throughout the accuracy and rapid rounds.

    Meanwhile, India's Tulika Maan lost to Idalys Ortiz of Cuba 10-0 in the women's +75 kg round of 32 match.

    Rower Balraj Panwar finished fifth in the Final D group of men’s single sculls finals.

    Indian archers Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj Bommadevara who showed great promise in noon by qualifying to the semi-final lost to United States in bronze medal match putting an end to their campaign.

    Indian hockey team dominated Australia in their final Pool B Match. Skipper Harmanpreet's brace made sure India secured a top-two finish in the table. Final score was India 3 - 2 Australia. The win marked India's first victory over Australia after 52 years.

    22-year old Lakshya Sen finds himself a spot in semi-final after winning the match against Taipei Chen Chou in Quarter-final (19-21, 21-15, 21-12).

    Indian athletes had a disappointing day in the track as Ankita finished at 20th place in Women's 5000m Heat 1 and Parul Chaudhary registers her season best timing of 15:10:68 finishing in the 14th spot.

    Indian athlete Tajinderpal Singh ended up his Olympic campaign. Started with 18.05 in first throw and ended up with two foul throws in second and third attempts.

      Women's 25m Pistol

      1st round: Precision stage

      Shooters fire a total of 30 shots across 3 series and they will be awarded points based on how close they shoot to the (X) - this will determine the accuracy of the shooter

      Second stage: Rapid fire stage

      This stage works the same 30 shots over 3 series but multiple shots will be shot one after other in span of seconds

      The results of these two stages will determine the rankings - the top 8 will progress to the medal round.

      Hello and welcome to Day 7 of Paris Olympics!!

      Manu Bhaker, who has made headlines throughout this Olympics edition, will feature in the 25m pistol qualification along with Esha Singh event at noon.

      Meanwhile, Tulika Maan will compete in judo women's 78kg elimination round of 32.

      In the group event, the Indian hockey team will play their last group match against Australia. They lost against Belgium on Thursday for the first time in the Paris Games.

      Coming to badminton, Lakshya Sen will play Chou Chen in the quarterfinals of the men’s badminton singles.
