Heartfulness can help influence sub-conscious consciously

You may be a millionaire in your life but what if you are a spiritual pauper? But what would you say, if it is possible to be a millionaire in both these aspects of life? And, this is what is required now.

There is a need for moderation – for the sake of community and family life – and the need for an enforcement of corporate social responsibility. It is often said that meditation can be delayed till old age, but my personal observation is that you should not wait that long. The mind complicates things; the heart resonates with simplicity. The heart responds very naturally. If you want to embolden your decision and make a solid, unfailing decision, then meditate for a few minutes with the question in mind.

There is no need to ruminate on the question; just wait for the answer and the solution will emerge from within. That will give us confidence. When we listen to the heart time and again, and we implement the heart’s dictum and see the success, we become very confident. I don’t have to go to any guru outside me; the guru is within me. That’s why we meditate. This strengthens my belief in myself.

The best use of meditation is to evolve our consciousness to the highest possible level, as Swami Vivekananda mentions in his works. He had come to one conclusion: all these spiritual practices have a simple goal, and the goal is to allow our available consciousness to expand from the thin layer, sandwiched between two giant oceans of super-consciousness and sub-consciousness, into those oceans. Meditation helps us plunge deeper into our subconscious, as well as soar higher into our superconscious.

Often, I have been asked questions concerning the purpose of existence, life, past lives, atheism. My response is try an experiential way – Practice Heartfulness for three months minimum, day in and day out, like you go to the gym. Consider this as your mental gym, and you will experience super-consciousness, guaranteed.

And, remember, when you gather a spiritual state after every meditation, hold onto it like a miser. It is something you have worked for, you have sat for half an hour every morning, so you do not want to let such a spiritual condition dissipate. Hold on to it and go to work, go to your business, with this spiritual state. There is no point meditating for half an hour and then losing your meditative state. Allow it to percolate into your day-to-day interactions and see what magical things unfold in life.

I’d like to emphasize that Heartfulness, we can influence the subconscious with our conscious mind. One may ask, how? It’s simple. It is just like a child learning to ride a bicycle. A day will come when she becomes unaware of her pedalling; yet she goes on doing it. It’s as simple as that. Holding onto the spiritual state that prevails after meditation becomes like a pedalling activity – we become unaware of what we are doing. It becomes automatic, like a biological clock within; it just happens.”

When it comes to spirituality, there is no limitation. Infinite potential exists there. Yet where there is infinite potential, we have zero investment; whereas we have everything invested in our life full of limitations. Think for a moment: where we are going wrong? And always remember: what if I die the next minute? Where will I go?

Esoteric traditions all say one thing: whatever be the quality of the soul at the moment of death, the vibratory level of the soul will find the corresponding vibratory level after death. It’s as simple as that. You can’t be a corrupt sinful individual and expect to go to a brighter world. Every minutest karma in its fullest details is well recorded by Nature.
