Benjamin sizzles for Kendriya Vidyalaya
J Jasper Benjamin (116) smashed a century as Kendriya Vidyalaya (1) thrashed PSBB Millennium School by 116 runs in the CDCA Inter-School Tournament held at the Sumangali Cricket Ground here.

Batting first, Kendriya Vidyalaya (1) posted a mammoth total of 206 for two in its regulation overs, courtesy of Benjamin’s great knock. Aneesh Tadkod (3/48), who took a hat-trick, was the lone bright spot for PSBB Millennium. An uphill task ahead of it, PSBB Millennium was bowled out for a paltry 90 in 24.3 overs in the chase.
In another match, V Yuvan Harsha (112 not out) hit an unbeaten ton to guide Kendriya Vidyalaya (2) to a massive 188-run success over Maharishi Vidya Mandir.

St John’s Public School 203 for 5 in 25 overs (K Tharun 46*, S Sanjay 69, Akshaya Rahul 58, Adithya Pillai 3/41) beat PSBB 142 for 8 in 25 overs (Shrinivas Vijay 44, V Karthik 29);
Kendriya Vidyalaya (1) 206 for 2 in 25 overs (J Jasper Benjamin 116, J Md Naimudin Aashef 46, Aneesh Tadkod 3/48) beat PSBB Millennium School 90 all-out in 24.3 overs (N Uddish 30, J Jasper Benjamin 3/18).
