Chandra helps Jolly Rovers collect five points

As Jolly Rovers had a comfortable lead after the opening exchanges, it took home five points. India Pistons had to settle for a solitary point. In reply to Jolly Rovers’ first innings total of 435 for eight, India Pistons was bowled out for 200 in 65.4 overs. Left-arm spinner Chandrasekar wreaked havoc with the ball, taking seven wickets.
At the IIT – M Chemplast Ground, Ganesh Satish (139 not out) and Adithya Ganesh (105 not out) smashed unbeaten centuries to help Young Stars CC collect five points against Alwarpet CC. While the former’s knock included 13 fours and a maximum, the latter’s innings had eight shots to the fence.
Elsewhere, Naushad Shafi Shaik (132 not out) hit an unbeaten ton as Madras CC earned five points from its thriller against AG’s Office.
