    Evangelist offers houses to Gaja victims in Nagai

    Evangelist Paul Dhinakaran handed over houses to 22 individuals who were affected by Cyclone Gaja in Nagapattinam district on Saturday as a part of the Rs 3.5 crore Gaja rehabilitation project undertaken by Samiti for Education, Environment, Social and Health Action (SEESHA), a non- profit organisation founded by him.

    After the devastation caused by the cyclone, the SEESHA foundation had organised a medical camp at the village on December 23 and Paul Dhinakaran assured to provide free concrete houses to the people affected by it. As assured, he handed over the concrete houses to 22 beneficiaries at a function held at Thoppaditheru village in Nagapattinam.


    Apart from the construction of the houses, facilities such as roads, drinking water supply and street lights were also provided. Saplings were also planted in front of each house. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran distributed utensils to the beneficiaries in the presence of Samuel Paul Dhinakaran, Shilpa and Stella Ramola, who distributed keys to the beneficiaries.
