TN Assembly kicks off on January 6

Tamil Nadu assembly will convenes its first session of the year 2020, on Monday.

Governor Banwarilal Purohit will officially get the things going with his speech on the occasion of the first assembly session.

On this day the newly elected local body representatives will swear-in to office.

The debates in discussion may pertain to the newly amended Citizenship Act and local body polling.

The session will happen for 5 days from January 6 to 10.
