Rajenthra Bhalaji questions silence of Superstar fans
Dairy Development Minister KT Rajenthra Bhalaji on Thursday courted fresh controversy in Rajinikanth-Periyar issue by stating that the fans of the actor are silent in the whole issue.

“Rajinikanth is a spiritual person and he has spoken about an event that has happened in the past. I am quite saddened at the silence of Rajinikanth’s fans in the issue,” said Rajenthra Bhalaji.
The comments of the Minister supporting Rajinikanth and indirectly instigating Rajinikanth’s fans come in sharp contradiction to the earlier statements of AIADMK leaders who had criticised the actor for his comments on Periyar.
The Minister went on to praise the actor by saying that Rajinikanth has been living in Tamil Nadu for the past 40 years and his family is based on Tamil tradition. “Any attempts to humiliate Rajinikanth is condemnable and Dravidian outfits are trying to threaten the actor,” said Rajenthra Bhalaji. The statement of the Minister supporting Rajinikanth and criticising Periyarists shows that AIADMK is divided on the issue.
It is still surprising that Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami is yet to react on the issue.
