Murasoli row: DMK demands apology from PMK
The main Opposition party in the state DMK on Thursday demanded a public apology from PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss for reviving the ‘Murasoli’ land row debate.

Hitting back at the PMK founder on the issue, DMK spokesperson and organising secretary TKS Elangovan cautioned Ramadoss to abstain from daring DMK. “If possible, produce evidence for your allegation that Murasoli sits on a panchami land or do penance by tendering a public apology for unnecessarily accusing Murasoli which fights for social justice,” Elangovan said in a statement.
He was responding to Ramadoss’ fresh barb at DMK over the land issue. The DMK Rajya Sabha MP also advised Ramadoss not to dream that he could divert public attention from their support to CAA which is against Eelam Tamils and minorities and corruptions of AIADMK regime by raking up fresh controversies about Murasoli.
“The question is not whether Murasoli is a rented building or not, but whether it is a panchami land or not? Patta of Murasoli was released only to tear the mask and expose the lies of the PMK founder. Having realised that there is no evidence for his charge, he is attempting to divert the issue,” Elangovan said. “Ramadoss would make somersaults for benefits. The latest was the demonstration they had called off against public exam for Classes 5 and 8, accepting the Minister’s request,” Elangovan said, urging the PMK founder to stop daring DMK over this issue.
