As special case and because of the glitches reported, several students of the first phase were also allowed to attend the second phase along with the fresh candidates.
This relaxation jacked up the number of students to 34, 148 attempting the hour-long exam through their schools, mobile phones and through e-seva centres,” Kandasamy told DT Next.
Asked if the move did not infringe on social distancing norms, he said, students were issued tokens and when they come to school, each class of about 20 students would be kept aloof till a system was free.
