The Mezzanine Capital Sanctioning Committee, after careful securitisation, selected 22 companies and allotted Rs 2.05 crore for them.Â
Palaniswami said that during the lockdown, 113 farmer producer companies have procured 288 metric tonnes of fruits, 1,670 metric tonnes of vegetables and 283 metric tonnes of other foodgrain from farmers and have sold them ‘Uzhavar Sandhais’, wholesale markets and retail shops at a fair price.
