TTV Dhinakaran: Hold judicial probe into hiring of health staff
AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran on Thursday urged the Madras High Court to take suo motto action ordering a probe into the temporary recruitment process of doctors and medical staff by the state to handle coronavirus crisis.

In a statement, the RK Nagar MLA said that the state awarded a contract to hire temporary medical professionals to a private HR company. The company had opened its website just one day ahead of the recruitment process and is a firm without much experience. Though the controversial contract with Gentleman HR firm is now cancelled, there are discrepancies in the process, Dhinakaran alleged demanding a probe ordered by the judiciary.
The statement further said that the state government through the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (TNMSRB) initially took steps to recruit doctors, nurses and paramedics on a temporary basis, but for some reason, the process was outsourced to a private firm, subsequently, advertisements were published by the private firm on June 13. But after there were discrepancies in its advertisements, it is understood that the contract has been terminated.
