DMK to observe 'black flag' protest on EB tariff issue

The DMK called for a meeting of its district secretaries, MPs and MLAs to discuss the alleged electricity tariff hike in the state.
The meeting took place at the district secretary office today through video conferencing.
Party president MK Stalin led the meeting where he discussed about the electricity tariff hikes and took the decision to observe a black flag protest.
He instructed DMK leaders, party members and workers to hoist black flags at their houses to show the opposition against government inaction on power tariff issues.
He urged party members to carry out this symbolic protest on 21st of this month.
