EPS says TN govt in favour of deferring examinations
Amid growing demand from various political parties urging the Centre to defer the NEET and JEE exams, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami too expressed a similar view in the wake of the COVID-19 situation.

Talking to reporters after a review meeting on preventive measures to be taken during the pandemic and launching various welfare schemes here, he reiterated that his government’s stand was to defer the examinations. He stated that he had already written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in July seeking postponement of of NEET keeping student’s welfare in mind.
