Annamalai is VP of State BJP unit
Former Karnataka IPS Officer K Annamalai, popularly referred to as ‘Singham Annamalai’, was on Saturday appointed as Vice-President of Tamil Nadu unit of BJP.

He joined the BJP in the presence of party national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao and Tamil Nadu state president L Murugan in New Delhi on Tuesday. An announcement was made by the BJP in this regard. Murugan extended his best wishes to Annamalai in his new role. Hailing from Karur, the former Karnataka cadre IPS officer has served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru
