Jayaraj and Bennix were falsely implicated: CBI

CBI probing the Sathankulam twin murder has informed that false cases were arraigned on the slain father-son duo Jayaraj and Bennix.

Additionally, the central investigation agency has also said that lodging of the cases couldn't have happened without the prior knowledge of SI Sridhar.

Sridhar's bail plea was at the hearing when CBI made these charges. His bail plea case was then adjourned to Friday.

Police brutality sent shockwaves across India when the merchant father-son duo Jayaraj and Bennix were taken into custody and allegedly beaten to death in Sathankulam police station on June 18 this year.
