New agri laws will uplift farmers’ lives, assures BJP farmers wing chief

Speaking the campaign meeting in support of Agriculture Bills, Nagaraj said, it would support the farmers in cultivation and and would also turn them as traders. He also pointed out that the Prime Minister had introduced as many as 32 progressive schemes for the farmers which would certainly ensure the farmers double their earnings by 2022.

Stating that the Congress and the DMK had done nothing for the farmers, Nagaraj said, both the parties left the farmers to end their lives with their anti-farmer activities.

Blaming the opposition parties for their negative campaign against the new lawsl, Nagaraj clarified that the mandis, uzhavar sandhais and the agriculture regulatory markets would never be affected as the opposition parties claimed. He also said that no interference would be visible in the MSP provision for the farm produces and the hoarding of agriculture products by the corporate firms would be stopped by all means.

He assured that the farmers would become rich within five years through the agriculture schemes introduced by the Centre. Meanwhile, Nagaraj said that steps are being initiated to include the tenant farmers to cover under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna (PMKSNY) and the BJP is satisfied with the actions initiated by the state government against those who involved in the PMKSNY scam.
