Deputy Inspector General N Kannan (Additional Commissioner, Traffic, Greater Chennai Police), Superintendent J Mahesh (Q Branch), Superintendent S Aravind (Tiruvannamalai district), Deputy Superintendent B Pandarinathan, (Special Investigation Unit, Coimbatore) and Inspector M Damodaran (Special Division CID) have been selected among officers from across the country.
The awards are announced on the occasion of birth anniversary of India’’ s first home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
