DMK and corruption inseparable, says BJP state president L Murugan
BJP state president L Murugan on Sunday said that DMK is a born-corrupt party and can’t be separated from the malaise.
Coimbatore
“The DMK and its party president MK Stalin have lost sleep ever since BJP began its Vetrivel Yatra, due to its resounding response from people across Tamil Nadu. Stalin’s dream of coming to power will fade away just like a dream after polls,” he said at the Vetrivel Yatra in Coimbatore.
The BJP leader said that a befitting lesson should be taught to Karuppar Kootam and those behind it for denigrating Kandha Shashti Kavasam. He also wanted the state government to declare a holiday for ‘Thai Poosam’ festival.
BJP state vice president Annamalai, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwath Narayan and the party’s National Women’s Wing president Vanathi Srinivasan were among those others who spoke on the occasion.
Security was beefed up in view of the yatra with the deployment of more than 900 cops. The BJP leaders and workers were removed for holding the yatra defying police orders. Earlier former union minister Pon Radhakrishnan and actor-politician Khushbu Sundar participated in the yatra in Tirupur district.
