Si Pa Aditanar award given to media houses
The State government, on Monday, distributed Si Pa Aditanar award for various media houses under various categories, for the year 2020.

Under the category of dailies, the government distributed the award to Dinamani paper and under the category of weekly magazines the award was given to Kalki magazine. Senthamizh was awarded under the category of monthly magazines.Â
The award carried Rs 1 lakh cash, a shield, a certificate and a golden shawl. The award was instituted in 2019 by the Tamil Nadu government in the name of Si Pa Aditanar, the founder of the Daily Thanthi group for his contribution to Tamil.
