6 kg tumour removed from woman in Srirangam
Doctors from Srirangam GH removed a six kg tumour from a woman’s stomach on Wednesday. A 30-year-old woman from Manamedu near Musiri had a severe chronic abdominal pain.

Later, she approached the doctors in Srirangam GH where she was diagnosed to have a huge tumour, which was removed after a 2-hour surgery. The condition of the patient is said to be stable. Sources said that it was first of its kind surgery in Srirangam GH.
