A woman village panchayat president committed suicide by hanging herself in Ariyalur on Friday over a family dispute.

G Rajeswari (32), the president of Reddy Palayam panchayat near Ariyalur had a dispute with her husband Ganesan.
On Friday afternoon Rajeswari hanged herself at home. The police rgistered a case and are conducting an inquiry with her husband and neighbours.
