    he number of Covid fresh cases has slightly increased with 37 cases on Tuesday.

    The total number of cases in the state reached 34,52,751. Chennai continues to record the highest number with 20 cases, followed by 4 cases in Chengalpattu, 3 cases in Coimbatore and Tiruvallur respectively, 2 cases in The Nilgiris, and a case each in Dindigul, Kanniyakumari, Salem, Tiruvarur and Tiruppur.

    After testing 28,916 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.1 per cent.

    A total of 34,14,387 people across the State have recovered from COVID-19, after 64 patients were discharged from several hospitals on Tuesday.

    As many as 25,105 more samples were tested for COVID-19 Tamil Nadu in the past 24 hours.
