Emergency exit incident: Dayanidhi Maran ridicules Tejasvi Surya
The Parliamentarian, who flew to Coimbatore in an IndiGo flight shared the video on his twitter page, which has gone viral.
CHENNAI: The ruling DMK seems to be in no mood to give up on the "emergency exit goof up" involving BJP leaders, mainly it's Tamil Nadu president K Annamalai as yet.
As netizens take the BJP leaders to task for what has been touted as a reckless act by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and equally flimsy justification by Annamalai, DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran on Saturday took a sarcastic jab at BJP youths.
In a short video captured during his flight from Chennai to Coimbatore, Dayanidhi Maran said, "I am travelling in an Indigo flight to Coimbatore. I am sitting near the emergency exit. I will not pull it because it is not good for the flight or the safety of passengers."
"I will not open the emergency exit because it will delay my journey and journey of all passengers by two hours. I don't have to write an apology letter" Maran said in the short video he began saying, "Vanakkam. Vaazhga Tamil Nadu."
The DMK MP jabbed at the BJP leaders in the backdrop of reports of the latter allegedly delaying a Chennai- Trichy flight by two hours by opening the emergency exit before take off went viral.
Maran's sarcastic hit at the saffron party comes a day after his party colleague and state electricity minister Senthil Balaji who was among the first to raise the emergency exit opening issue ripped Annamalai's latest reasoning on the issue to shreds.
Unsparing Netizens picked holes in the state BJP chiefs 'justification' after union civil aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia publicly conceded that Tejasvi had apologised for opening the emergency exit of the plane.
