Traffic between Puducherry - Cuddalore to resume from Dec 7: PWD...

Roads between Puducherry -Cuddalore were submerged after Veedur and Sathanur dams reached full capacity and excess water was released from them.

Accordingly, Vehicles coming from Dr.Muthulakshmi Road towards Thiruvanmiyur will be restricted at Adyar Telephone Exchange.

Commuters have to wait for over three hours on the national highway; the long weekend has not eased the situation.

The diversions will be implemented from Sunday (Aug 25) to August 27 during night hours, from 11 pm to 6 am, on a trial basis.
