Election dates announced in Maharashtra?

The Election Commission of India has not released the Maharashtra election date yet. The dates mentioned in the viral post turns out to be dates that were announced during the 2014 legislative elections in the state.

There has been no announcement of the 2019 Maharashtra election dates on the Central Election Commission website and their official Twitter page. However, it is reported that the announcement of the assembly elections will soon be announced for the state of Maharashtra.

The Election Commission is planning to hold simultaneous polls for 288 assembly constituencies in Maharashtra and Haryana assembly polls. The announcement regarding the assembly election in 2014 was released on September 20.
