On May 15, the President of Swaraj Abhiyan, Yogendra Yadav posted an image of a notice issued by Bulandshahr police. Tweeting the notice, Yadav criticised the government and said, “UP govt warns Samaritans living on the roadside who have offered rest and food to migrant labourers. Threatens with prosecution.” Alt News found the notice was issued to a former MLA from UP, who as per the police, had violated the lockdown rules a few times.
