    Debunked: Magic stone melts metal nails

    A video of a set of iron nails that melt after being placed on a black stone has gone viral. It is claimed that this stone was found in Kabul.

    Alt News performed a search and found a video related to the Jeddah Astronomy Society. It said the nails in the footage are made up of a metal called gallium.

    Its low melting point of around 29-C explains why it easily melts when brought into contact with the stone. When placed on a warm surface, galium melts under sunlight as well.
