DeTect: Kejriwal’s dinner host didn’t have Modi’s portrait on wall

NEW DELHI: On his visit to Ahmedabad, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was invited by an rickshaw driver, V Dantani, to dinner at his home after Kejriwal addressed a gathering of drivers.

An image of Kejriwal interacting with Dantani’s family has gone viral. Users have pointed out that a portrait of PM Modi can be seen on the wall in the background.

Alt News found that the same picture that Kejriwal had uploaded, does not have the portrait of the PM, but that of a family member of the driver. Hence, the viral photo is morphed.
