The actor started shooting for his portions of the movie in Chennai earlier this week. Talking to DT Next, the director of the film Prithivi said, “We had roped him in for this character long ago and he joined the team today. He has another week of shoot left. Today, the scenes had both Prakash Raj and Nasser on the sets and you can imagine the kind of performance we could have witnessed.” Asked if Prithivi was in a fix to ask Prakash Raj for a retake in any of the scenes, he said, “He is a sweet person and would constantly improvise.

For instance, of 20 shots we filmed, I had to ask him for ‘once more’ only once. And he only gave us a better version. He doesn’t let you ask for retakes. Such a wonderful performer he is.” Talking about the rest of the shooting schedules and release plans, the director added, “We have only a couple of weeks of shoot left. Clap is a film that should be witnessed in theatres.” Clap is produced by IB Karthikeyan of Big Print Pictures and is co-produced by P Prabha Prem, Manoj and Harsha.
