“We made this like any other film in a little less than a month. It is because the rehearsal required for achieving this took over 20 days. Everything including the lights and camera angles had to be rehearsed. Then when we got everything right, we planned it from 10 pm till 6 am the next day. However, we wrapped it up in two hours,” Sriram tells DT Next. The film was shot in multiple locations across Chennai. “We shot in T Nagar, Nungambakkam and Nandanam. Initially, we thought of making a single scene as one shot. As the script work progressed, we realised that the story deserves to be made in one shot, so that the audience can relate to it from a closer perspective. This is a crime thriller,” he adds. Yuddha Kaandam also has songs and fight sequences.

“We haven’t compromised on mass elements. Along with the storyline, we have a song and a high octane fight sequence too. We are planning for a theatrical release,” concludes Sriram. Produced by Paradise Cinemas, Yuddha Kaandam is directed by Anantharajan and has Krisha Kurup playing the female lead. Iniyan J Harris has handled the camera while Hari Sai has composed the music.
