Actress Raashi Khanna has signed off the year on a great note. Yes, the actress who is awaiting the release of biggies like Aranmanai 3 and Tughlaq Darbar is on board as the female lead of Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming web series starring Shahid Kapoor, which will be directed by Raj and DK of The Family Man fame. The series will also star Vijay Sethupathi in an important role. A source in the know told DT Next, “Raashi has signed the dotted lines and will begin shooting for the web series early next year. This web series is an action-oriented story and Raashi has a substantial role in it.” Earlier there were rumours that Malavika Mohanan has been finalised to play this role.
