Orders reserved on malpractices in TNPSC case

The Madras High Court has reserved its orders on a plea alleging largescale malpractices in the Group I exams held by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commissioner (TNPSC). 

Justice S M Subramaniam who posted the matter for orders on August 18 directed the counsel for the petitioner and the Government to furnish original documents in support of their respective cases. 

S Swapna, a transgender, who failed to clear the exams, on citing various reports in TV channels alleged that blank unanswered pages were removed and certain candidates were permitted to fill the same for subsequent insertion into the main answer books. The Judge on Wednesday, he ordered notices to the Commissioner of Police and the said TV channel.
